I love maxi skirts in the summer!! They give a dressed up casual look.... If you know what I mean. haha. Not only that... but they are comfortable!! They are perfect baby wear because you don't have to worry about them riding up like shorts! I find myself easily rolling around on the floor with Alaina in maxis! I own about 6 maxi skirts and live in them this time of year!! You can definitely take these into fall as well! Just add a cropped jacket (one that hits where the top of the skirt starts). Another thing I wanted to point out about this outfit was the silver accessories! I wear gold 99.9% of the time. But because the skirt is grey, I thought it would be a great opportunity to bring in the silver! This is a necklace I bought at the beginning of spring, and it still remains a favorite! It is so delicate and perfect for summer!!
